Dow Jones and Henny AKA Tha Bizness are the production duo behind some of your favorite records like Lil Wayne’s “Every Girl”. They have been working hard in PatchWerk studios on several projects for 2009 including those with Yo Gotti, Bei-Major, and Chef Tone. All Tha Bizness sessions were engineered by PatchWerk engineer Dee Brown.

Gucci Mane was at PatchWerk for several days working with PatchWerk engineer Kori Anders and several producers including Mannie Fresh, Drumma Boy, and Shawty Red. Gucci has a new official mixtape "Guccimania" out with some of his new 2009 singles featured on the mixtape. On October 2, 2009, Gucci Mane was named #6 on MTV's annual ‘Hottest MC's In The Game’ list of 2009. Gucci Mane is set to release his next album The State vs Radric Davis on Warner Bros. Records in December of 2009.

Rapper and Singer, Nicki Minaj was in PatchWerk this past September working with PacthWerk engineer, Mike “Snotty” Miller. After Nicki Minaj released her Beam Me Up Scotty, mixtape in 2009, she officially signed to Young Money Entertainment with distribution from Universal Motown wherein she will release her debut studio album in 2010.

Singer/songwriter Lloyd had songs mixed at PatchWerk this past September. Lloyd's 2008 studio release, ‘Lessons in Love’, is being followed by a 2009 mixtape ‘Lessons in Love 2.0’. A second mixtape, ‘Gangsta Grillz’ featuring Lloyd, has a release date that has yet to be determined. Lloyds sessions were mixed by Leslie Brathwaite, Assisted by Brian Pedersen.

Ludacris and Shawnna are working with Leslie Brathwaite having songs mixed at PatchWerk Studios. Ludacris’ Battle of the Sexes is the upcoming collaboration album between Ludacris & Shawnna. It will be the seventh studio album released by Ludacris and the third released by Shawnna. The album is set to be released in Summer 2009. Ludaversal, Luda’s solo project, is also slated for a 2009 Release. All Ludacris sessions were assisted by Brian Pedersen.

Mario is working partially on the release of his fourth album DNA at PatchWerk Studios. Mario had songs mixed by Leslie Brathwaite, assisted by Brian Pedersen. The album is involving a wide range of producers and songwriters such as Darkchild, Babyface, Polow da Don, RedOne, CJ of Charlio Productions, Malay, Jazze Pha, Stargate, KP, Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. Mario has described this album as World music, an old school R&B influenced with a modern dance pop sound. The album is being described as his “most personal, colossal album of his career.” Mario's official website has confirmed a 13 October, 2009 release date for the project.
