With so many "Become a Star overnight" shows on television like American Idol, and Making the Band,I wonder if people ever stop to think that this may be contributing to the downfall of the music industry. I mean when was the last time you saw any great artist with longevity come out of one of these shows. NEVER! Most of the time they turn out to be manufactured one-hit wonders. Granted some of them do have raw talent, but because they are thrown into the stardom over night, they take for granted the actual challenges they need to go through in order to become fully developed professional, stand-the-test-of-time-artists.What do you think?
