New information has floated out about the new slotmusic campaign. The albums will start making their way out this week. The surprise guest is that a specific digital music player will be available for purchase.
The Sansa SlotMusic Player, which is retailing for only $20, is an microSD memory card reader with no internal memory or ability to synch with a computer to download songs. The device carries with it a number of accessories. Artist can create their own, branded slotMusic Player that comes pre-loaded with the active artist album, set on an included 1 GB slotMusic card. Music on any other slotMusic or microSDmemory card is accessible as well. The devices tailored to the artist retail for $35 and are designed with the name and image of the artist as well.
Other accessories included a Sansa Card Wallet to hold various slotMusic cards, and an armband in case your have a workout regiment. At the launch some of the artist ready to go included Chris brown, Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, Kelly Clarkson, MIA, Nelly, Ne-Yo and Rihanna, Usher, and Robin Thicke just to name a few.
