Fantasia Records New Album at PatchWerk

Fantasia Barrino, plus a lot more have joined the ranks of those big names Recording at Atlanta's premier studio, PatchWerks. Read below for who stopped in this past December.



In Studio 995

Def Jam recording artist Rocko was in PatchWerk for a couple days this December. He was working alongside, PatchWerk engineer Mike “Snotty” Miller, assisted by Tripp Tiller.

Musician, producer, singer Sean Garrett who has been responsible for a series of chart-topping compositions was also in the studio writing and recording. Sessions were engineered by Miles Walker assisted by Mike Pratt and Mark “Exit” Goodchild, with production from both DJ Montay and Eric Hudson.

Fantasia received three Grammy nominations for her sophomore release, Fantasia and is currently in the studio working on her third album to be released early 2009.Fantasia along with KP & Malay of Ghet-O-Vision, spent several days in the studio. Sessions were engineered by PatchWerk’s Kori Anders.

Producer Madd Scientist was working with a couple of different artists: Alja and Jesse Jane. Sessions for Alja were engineered by PatchWerk engineers Adrian Dickey and Mike “Snotty” Miller, while sessions for Jesse Jane were engineered by Kori Anders and Mike “Snotty” Miller.

Ace Boon Coon is still steady werking in the studio. He was in PatchWerk for at least a week this December with his engineer Tomcat, assisted by PatchWerk engineers Mike “Snotty” Miller and Dee Brown.

Tweet was also in attendance having a couple songs tracked and edited by Kori Anders.

Other sessions in 995 include those for Young Jeezy, Phenoms, Jesse Mc Cartney, The Bean Project and Nut Skywalker.


In Studio 9000

After recording several of his records in the B room at PatchWerk, Ace Boon Coon returned to have several of his tracks mixed by Leslie Brathwaithe, assisted by Mike Pratt.

Rocko also returned for more tracking and recording done by Mike “Snotty” Miller assisted by Tripp Tiller.

Producers KP & Malay, returned to put together some bangers for Brenda R., while producer Madd Scientist also returned with Jesse Jane. Both Brenda’s and Jesse Jane’s sessions were engineered by Kori Anders.

Other sessions in 9000 included those for Jazmine, Eric Moss, Killer Mike, and Fourth Nation. Toye Elise
