Jay-Z: Death of Autotune(Video)

Is it really possible to end a trend with one song? Jiggaman's "Death Of Autotune" track is out to put a lot of artist to sleep. The fight is lack of originality. The passing of "The King of Pop" Michael Jackson should inspire musicians to make original music. However I do find it hard to believe because one man is not inspired by the voice enhancer, everyone should follow.

Jay performed "D.O.A" at the BET Music Awards followed by the actual video afterwards. Is his message enough to make you look elsewhere for substance in the music? Will you stop listening to your favorite artist because Jay-Z said its not cool anymore or will you continue to "Blame It On The Alcohol" like Jamie and T-Pain?

Hypocracy at its best. Didn't Jay-Z do a song with auto tune on his voice... that'd be a big 10-foe! The I Put On remix with Jeezy remember... it don't look like he does though. It could just be his old age.

Was that Lyor Cohen chauffeuring him around at the beginning of the video? Damn Jay! The video is so so mal. Can we get some mini movies. These videos are becoming LAME! We need some suspense, action and drama. Peace.

As an artist you can say whatever you feel...that's the beauty. There are many fans that agree strongly with Jay, I personally am over the damn auto tune, like wtf... as an artist I wouldn't want to do the same damn thing everyone else is doing....it's not that creative and original to begin with. I don't think that Jay is trying to get people to stop listening to artist using auto tune, but HE IS doing what typical Jay does and that's show these dudes what the craft is all about.... that's what's up (and Imma a lady)

Mr. can I get a what what himself......he is the old lion and he realizes his time is up, this happens in hip hop every few years where the gaurd changes and those who were on top began to hate the direction that its going, usually because its leaving them behind.......yeah Jay got the money but he still wanna be that dude, and that time has left him....death of Jay-z (p.s. you should have just gracefully bowed out)
